Milestones

Turtlejob.com was founded in March 2006 and headquartered in Oxford UK. Turtlejob is engaged in building bridges between Chinese returnees with overseas qualifications and expertise. We are dedicated to constructing the best IT platform for Chinese returnees’ employment and recruitment. Turtlejob adheres to practices in keeping with its principles as an international service with a global viewpoint and customer-focused orientation. The management team is chaired by Dr Andrew St George of Oxford University and includes Chinese expatriates with extensive overseas qualifications and expertise in e-business. The board of advisors includes American and international IT specialists Ludmil Pandeff and Nick Matelan, and Henry Blodget, an award-winning Internet and eCommerce analyst on Wall Street.

Within just one year, Turtlejob.com has progressed considerably.

April 2007 – The construction of the Turtlejob website started in Beijing.
September 2007 – Beijing Turtlejob Information Technology Ltd is officially founded with its office located in Shangdi, Haidian District.
November 2007 – Beijing Turtlejob Information Technology Ltd is approved and officially certified as a High and New Technology company by the Beijing Science and Technology Commission.
January 2008 – The first version of the website 1.0, is launched.
March 2008 – Beijing Turtlejob Information Technology successfully obtained a grant from the Chinese Government due to the project’s promising future.
April 2008 – Beta Version of Turtlejob is re-launched.
April 2008 – Beijing Turtlejob Information Technology Ltd moves into the Entrepreneurial Centre for Returnees.
May 2008 – Turtlejob is officially a part of the Zhongguancun Entepenuerial Centre, ready to develop even further.
