General  Description: 
Expert  Specialist  uses  the  technology  and  best  practices  developed  by  Siemens  PLM  Software  globally  to  assist  customer  to  conduct  technology  workshop,  to  review  quality  of  project  deliverables,  and  to  provide  advice  and  guidance  to  project  team.  Senior  Expert  Specialist  requires  two  or  more  years  of  Expert  Specialist  working  experience  and  demonstrates  customer  satisfaction  plus  contribution  to  the  Global  Expert  Services  team  technology  development. 

Specific  Responsibilities: 
-  Provide  billable  onsite  or  offsite  Expert  Services  to  support  customers  in  order  to  achieve  100%  customer  success  and  satisfaction  goal  via  the  Siemens  PLM  Software  Expert  Workshop,  Review  and  Mentor  services.  Compose  and  peer  review  Expert  Services  Report  containing  executive  summary,  findings,  solution  and/or  technology  issues  and  recommendations.  Establish  long  term  relationship  with  assigned  key  customers  via  Customer  Technology  Management.  (Estimated  effort:  50%+). 
-  Work  closely  with  Global  PLM  Technology  Experts  and  Direct  Report  Management  to  build  up  and  to  improve  Expert  Services  practices.  Contribute  to  the  Expert  Knowledge  and  Best  Practice  Database  to  improve  Expert  Services  content  and  quality. 
(Estimated  effort:  25%). 
-  Assist  Expert  Services  Director  to  integrate  Siemens  internal  Sales  and  Marketing  team  to  promote  Expert  Services  for  all  PLM  projects  in  home  Country. 
-  Be  a  mentor  for  assigned  Expert  Specialist. 


Job  Requirements:

-  Be  able  to  lead  customer  project  team  to  work  collaboratively  for  the  delivery  of  Expert  Services. 
-  Able  to  proactively  acquire  and  communicate  technology  best  practice  and  latest  information  for  customers  and  partners. 
-  Be  perceived  as  a  trusted  technical  advisor  by  customer  and  partner. 
-  Fluent  in  both  spoken  and  written  English. 
-  To  master  one  or  more  additional  Asian  languages  would  be  advantageous. 

Job  Skills: 
-  Must  be  a  Siemens  PLM  Software  Advanced  Certified  Consultant. 
-  Good  understanding  in  Manufacturing  Process,  Design  and  Production  BOM,  Product  Design  Process,  Life  Cycle  and  Business  Management. 
-  Working  knowledge  of  Teamcenter  Product  is  definitely  an  advantage. 
-  Deep  Working  Experience  in  2-Tier,  3-Tier  and  4-Tier  Solution  Architecture  around  J2EE  and  .Net  Technology.  Working  independently  and  confident  in  analyzing  technology  Issues  and  trouble  shoot  problems. 
-  Oracle  DBA/MSSQL  Server  with  Performance  Tuning  experience  at  different  layers  in  the  architecture;  System  Administrator  of  a  solution  with  more  than  300  users;  Good  working  knowledge  in  Unix/Linux,  Windows  Server,  .Net  Sharepoint  Servers.  Developer  experience  in  using  IDE,  J2EE  Application  Server,  Web  Servers,  HTML,  xml,  ASP,  JSP,  SOAP,  IDE  Eclipse  and/or  C++.  Previous  working  knowledge  in  CAD/CAM  tools  in  a  multi-users  environment  is  a  plus. 
-  Scalability  and  Performance  Testing  Tool  experience.  eg.  LoadRunner. 
-  Ability  to  handle  multiple  external  and  internal  concurrent  assignments  and  meet  deadlines. 

Qualifications  &  experience: 
-  9+  years  in  the  information  systems  or  consulting  field  required. 
-  Bachelor  or  Master  degree  holder  in  Engineering  or  Information  Technology. 
-  Working  experience  in  Manufacturing  Industry. 
-  Knowledge  and  working  experience  in  IBM,  HP  and/or  SUN  Servers. 
-  Two  or  more  of  the  following  certifications:  J2EE,  SCEA,  SCJA,  SCJP,  xml,  Oracle  DBA,  MCSE  or  MS  .Net.
