BMW  are  seeking  IT  /  Software  Engineering  students  for  short  and  long  term  placements.  Successful  applicants  will  be  responsible  for  one  or  more  implementation  projects,  dealing  directly  with  customers  in  the  core  manufacturing  technologies  (body-in-white,  paint,  assembly  and  logistics)  or  the  related  support  functions  (finance,  purchasing,  HR,  etc). 

Through  iterative  prototyping,  your  implementation  will  be  refined  based  on  an  innovative  IT  delivery  platform  using  Microsoft  SharePoint  and  Microsoft  SQL  Server  with  Reporting  Services. 

Applicants  should  have  a  passion  for  IT  and  experience  in  programming,  preferably  with  C#  .NET,  but  all  programming  skills  will  be  considered.  Team  working  and  solid  communication  skills  are  essential. 

Placements  are  available  as  of  June  2008  with  duration  between  3  and  12  months
