Major Responsibilities:Provide legal support to Ford Motor Research & Engineering (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. ("REC") on a wide variety of practice areas under the supervision of REC Legal Counsel including Board related matters and HR recruitment support; REC Non-production purchasing support e.g. office supply and test equipment import; REC facility construction project follow-up; Draft, translate and proofread legal documents in both Chinese and English; Co-ordinate with local government departments for compliance with relevant foreign investment, customs and taxation laws and regulations under supervision of REC Legal Counsel; Liaise with corporate and regional legal function in handling legal matters as assigned by Legal Counsel, e.g., global sourcing and IP protection; Legislation research, monitoring, and analysis; Support the REC Legal Counsel in various corporate compliance and training programs; Other legal support per the request from various departments from time to time as assigned by REC Legal Counsel. Qualification Requirements:Undergraduate from reputable PRC law school is a must, Master of Law preferred; 1or 2 years proven legal professional experience; Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese, capable of drafting legal documents in both languages; Well-organized and be able to work on own under pressure and within tight deadlines; Qualified for the PRC Bar preferred; Quick learner and good analytical skills; Demonstrated initiative with integrity, teamwork orientation, and high intelligence level; Good problem solving skills in helping clients in achieving their business objectives within applicable constraints.
