JOB  DESCRIPTION: 
ESSENTIAL  FUNCTION  /  RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate  global  gasification  R&D  programs  to  fill  material  characterization  needs
- Operate  analytical  equipments  and  perform  analyses  on  coal  gasification  samples
- Develop  new  test  methods  as  required  by  NPI  programs  or  customer  services  needs
- Assist  gasification  services  team  in  China  with  customer  requests

QUALIFICATIONS  /  REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD/MS  in  Chemistry  or  related  discipline
- 3+  years  experience  in  performing  laboratory  analyses;  experience  with  laboratory  QC  procedures 
and  testing
- Experience  in  gasification  and/or  refining  and  chemical  plant  technologies  desired
- Highly  collaborative  with  strong  communication  skills
- Experience  in  technical  service  client  relationship  role  desired
- Fluent  English  Verbal  and  Written  Skills
